
Tadeusz RACINOWSKI
Tadeusz Franciszek Racinowski was born to Stefan Racinowski and Helena Racinowska (née Bolesławska) on 22 March 1910, in Lublin, Poland.
He graduated from the Władysław Jagiełło State High School in Krasnystaw in 1929, then studied medicine for 2 years at the University of Warsaw.
From 11 October 1929 to 16 September 1930, he attended the Non-Commissioned Officers' Artillery School in Włodzimierz Wołyński and was an Honorary Corporal of the 3rd Light Artillery Regiment of the Legions in Zamość.
On 12 February 1932 he is listed in the Voivodeship Gazette as being wanted for evading military service.
From 11 July to 20 August 1932, he participated as platoon commander in Reserve military exercises.
From 25 April to 21 July 1934, he served as Reserve corporal in the Polish army.
He married Helena Marek on 27 October1935 in Our Lady's Protection parish in Radom. On 10 April 1937, he was a witness at his sister's wedding in Krasnystaw.
In 1939, he fled eastward from the German invasion, where he was captured by the Soviets and disappeared.
On 31 May 1942, he is listed on the 7th Infantry Division list of those buried in Kermine, USSR. His time in the USSR remains a mystery, as well as whether he died of typhus.
