According to the Polish Air Force Association in the UK, Stanislaw was too young to serve as a navigator during WW2 (he was only 18 when the war ended), which is why he does not appear on their list of WW2 personnel.  He did train as a navigator at the base in Faddington, and flew some missions AFTER THE WAR.

Stanislaw was born on 3 November 1926 in Poland, and had two younger siblings.

He emigrated to Canada in 1949 where he and his wife Janina (nee Czech) raised three  children: , Janina, Stanley and Zdzislaw. He retired from Inland Steel after 49 years.

 

Stanislaw passed away in Winnipeg on 26 December 2021, at the age of 95 years.
