Lance Corporal Bronislaw Zadrozny fought in the September Campaign in Poland, then evacuated to Hungary where he was interned. Escaping, he made his way to France and joined the Polish Free Army there. When France fell, he evacuated to the UK where he 

joined the 1st Polish armoured Division in Scotland. His assignments and the Battles he engaged in are listed below. He also served with the Occupying Forces in Germany, and in the Polish Resettlement Corps in the UK.
